Organizing Pages

 

Overview

Pages in a site are organized in relation to their level of navigation. For instance, the parent navigation items are treated as a group and can be organized. Any item that has child navigation items can have thier children organized as well.

 

Organizing the Parent Navigation

  1. You must be viewing a page in the website for which you want to organize pages.
  2. Click the Edit Navigation button in the dashbar. The Navigation Editor will be shown.
  3. Click the Organize button (the one next to the Add Parent button). The Organize Navigation dialog will show.
  4. This dialog will list out all of the parent navigation items. These items can be dragged and dropped into any order you wish.
  5. When finished ordering the items, click the Save Order button.
  6. The Navigation Editor will reload, and will reflect the new ordering of the items.

 

Organizing Child Navigation

  1. You must be viewing a page in the website for which you want to organize pages.
  2. Click the Edit Navigation button in the dashbar. The Navigation Editor will be shown.
  3. Find the navigation item in the Navigation Editor for which you want to organize the child navigation of. Click the respective Organize button for the item. The Organize Navigation dialog will show.
  4. This dialog will list out all of the parent navigation items. These items can be dragged and dropped into any order you wish.
  5. When finished ordering the items, click the Save Order button.
  6. The Navigation Editor will reload, and will reflect the new ordering of the items.
