Embedding Flash

 

Overview

Flash is a key web component to many sites, and the editor in Campusuite makes embedding Flash objects on your pages easy.

Typically, Flash objects come in the form of .swf files, and can be used simply as a graphical component to a page, or can include interactive elements.

 

Inserting a Flash Object

  1. Place your cursor in the page where you would like the Flash object to be embedded. It is suggested that these items be placed on their own line, which is preceded and followed by hard breaks.
  2. Click the Insert/Edit Flash button in the Editor Toolbar. The Flash Properties dialog will show.
  3. Fill out the fields as needed. View a description of this interface for reference.
  4. Once you are satisfied with the settings, click the OK button. The Flash object will be embedded in the page.

 

Editing a Flash Object

  1. Click on the Flash object you wish to edit.
  2. In the Editor Toolbar, click the Insert/Edit Flash button. The Flash Properties dialog will show.
  3. Edit the fields as needed. View a description of this interface for reference.
  4. When finished, click the OK button to save the changes, or the Cancel button to stop and ignore any changes you have made.

 

Removing a Flash Object

  1. Click on the Flash object you wish to remove.
  2. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
